We strive to provide meaningful opportunities for youth in Accra, Ghana to realize their dreams through quality education, a top-level soccer institution, and stable home-like accommodations.
In 2024, Goalseekers Academy was founded by a group of passionate, sports-loving, and community-centered leaders with a desire to support an organization close to home. The family of Board Co-President, Jessica Ken-Kwofie, is native to Ghana and all share a common love for soccer and charitable work. Throughout the family's visits back to Accra, they always collect supplies and equipment to benefit the local football stars, and yet it's never felt like enough to give back and grow the opportunities for the youth. Louis Ken-Kwofie, late uncle to Jessica, grew up playing on local pitches in Accra before pursuing his soccer career in the U.S. at Montclair State University and the professional soccer overseas and with the MLS. Louis frequently returned home to Ghana to organize soccer clinics, private coaching, and resources to give back to the communities where his love for the game first kicked off. His connection with Siano Football Club was longstanding over the past decade and treasured the opportunity to work alongside the organization. His dream was to build up the soccer foundations of the Ghanaian youth and curate a foundational organization to support their life-long aspirations on and off the pitch.
Our work directly benefits the young student-athletes of Siano Football Club (FC), a highly competitive soccer organization in Accra, Ghana. With a focus on top-tier competition and high achieving academics, Siano FC is creating new possibilities for their athletes on and off the field. We are proud to support this organization and uplhold their values of soccer development and academic excellence.
